This boss overrides the "Once you enter close combat, you can no longer go back to Ranged combat" rule, for example, you are able to go ranged to close to ranged.

If cunning is rolled on the chapter dice to commence Ranged Combat for this round, but no player can take the Shoot action, all players MUST roll a hit dice, and no one can take any other combat actions (e.g. Reload). So make sure you always have someone that can shoot just in case!
